NHS staff and volunteers are doing amazing work right now in caring for COVID-19 patients.We are asking you to show your respect and gratitude to the NHS workers and volunteers as they work tirelessly in the face of the COVID-19 virus. We want to make sure they are looked after and that they are supported to carry out the vital work they do.
NHS Support Badge
“SUPPORTING OUR NHS” Badge campaign started from a conversation over a beautiful flower that was drawn and uploaded to social media. The conversation involved a retired nurse and a local woman whom lost her mum to the COVID-19 Virus.
NACN was approached and asked to see if something could come from the drawing and conversation. A new digital design was created and the beginning of a new project was set up.
Empowering Creative youth Project
NACN Empowering Creative Youth project is funded under the National Lottery Community Fund and as part of the application , NACN have picked the badge to be their Social Action Project. Not just a project but a way for all involved in NACN, extended families and right into the heart of the community to show we care and that we want to make a difference.Funds generated will help to provide NHS workers and Volunteers with support in Mental Health, emotional Well being and go towards anything that they need in the fight against COVID-19.
